Forest Hill Swim & Tennis Club is offering structured summer tennis programming across multiple age groups and skill levels. The club's summer schedule includes camps, academies, and clinics designed to serve players from early childhood through competitive high school and adult levels.
What programs does Forest Hill offer this summer?
The club operates Little Stars Tennis Camp for ages four to six, focused on age-appropriate equipment and basic tennis fundamentals through games and drills. Junior Academy serves middle schoolers preparing for high school tryouts and high schoolers working to advance their competitive level, with sessions Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., plus individual 30-minute private lessons on Wednesday. Futures & Challengers is available for ages seven and up, with Futures (Level 1) designed for beginners through intermediate players not yet ready for match play, covering strokes such as forehands, backhands, volleys, overheads, and serves through drills and games.
What adult programming is available?
Forest Hill offers drop-in and enrolled clinics for adult players. A women's stroke-improvement clinic led by Pro Jack Davis targets players at the 2.5 to 3.0 level on Court 5, with a cost of $20 for members and $30 for non-members. Men's drop-in doubles take place on Har-Tru courts (Courts 9 and 10) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a note that these courts may not open until mid-May and typically close by Thanksgiving. Women's drop-in doubles are held on the hard courts from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., with sign-up required.
Little Stars enrollment runs Monday through Friday for the full week, while Junior Academy and adult clinics operate on a flexible schedule accommodating different commitment levels.
